Last Friday six puppies were thrown out near Bilu Center in Kiryat Ekron. The small pups were completely infested with fleas and ticks.
Neither we nor the veterinarian in all his practice have ever encountered so many worms, which endlessly came out of the pups with vomit and feces. Two pups died from intestinal obstruction caused by the worms, despite being hospitalized and give proper professional care.
If you ever find a puppy, the first thing to do is to contact a veterinarian, even if the pup looks good, eats and displays normal levels of activity. Immediately treat the puppy for fleas, but do not give him the anthelminthic yourself.
If the puppy has a lot of worms, you can kill him, as the drug should be given gradually to avoid intoxication.
There is no limit to human indifference and stupidity. The photo shows the late puppies’ brother and sister, which are now in the process of rehabilitation.
